Our Facilities
Library
The College library has, at present, over 10 thousands of books. In addition to them, a substantial number of books on each subject taught in the college are also available. There is a good collection of reference books, Encyclopedia Britannica, encyclopedia of different subjects, dictionaries, bibliographies and books of general interest.
The College subscribes to a number of scholarly journals on different subjects, several magazines of general interest and leading daily newspapers. The library remains open on all working days. Students are entitled to issue books against their I-Card issued to them at the time of admission.
Reading Room
There is a reading room facility adjacent to the library. Many books, journals,magazines and the books related to competitive exams are available in the reading room to enrich the students.
Laboratories
The college has modern, well-equipped and efficiently managed laboratories for all science courses offered in the college such as Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany and in Psychology.
Cultural & Extra Curricular Activities
Lakshmi Narayan College, being aware of its social and moral duties, believes in bringing hearts together. In order to bring people of the locality together,college organises different cultural and extra-curricular activities at regular intervals.College invites academicians, poets and other resource persons to contribute in these cultural and extra-curricular activities which benefit not only the students but the staff members too.
Counselling & Placement Cell
The College ensures that students are able to explore possible career options in reputed organizations even before completing their graduation. For this purpose the college organises counselling sessions, seminars, and workshops etc at regular intervals.
The Placement Cell at Lakshmi Narayan College provides quality placement opportunities for the students keeping in mind the rural background of the college and its students.
National Service Scheme (NSS)
The N.S.S. Unit at L. N. College is one of the most active units being run under the NSS Centre of the Bihar University. It is driven by social consciousness and awareness of its students. It provides them a platform to connect them selfs with the sosial and relevant issues of the society and motivates them to contribute productively to the cause of the society and of course the nation too.
